A bold, immersive retail environment designed to embody the energy, personality, and spectacle of The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.
Located within The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, one of the most distinctive and design-forward hospitality properties in the MGM Resorts International portfolio, Vitals serves as a high-visibility retail destination offering apparel, accessories, and curated merchandise.
As part of the property’s continued evolution, MGM engaged Irwin Raymond to redesign the store environment to align with the resort’s bold, youthful, and fashion-forward identity.
The goal was to create a visually striking, immersive retail experience that reflects the Cosmopolitan’s distinctive personality and the vibrant energy of Las Vegas itself.
The Challenge
The existing retail environment no longer reflected the brand identity or experiential expectations of the Cosmopolitan property.
Key challenges included:
An outdated store environment misaligned with the resort’s youthful and energetic brand
A need to incorporate the Cosmopolitan’s signature purple brand identity in a bold, sophisticated way
The desire to create a highly visible, immersive retail experience that captures guest attention
Designing within the architectural and operational constraints of an active resort property
Developing a flexible fixture program capable of supporting evolving merchandise

Every design decision was guided by the Cosmopolitan’s identity as one of Las Vegas’s most distinctive and expressive destinations.
The Design Solution
The redesigned environment blends bold architectural expression with immersive visual storytelling.
Custom mill-work and fixtures clad in white and purple marble create a striking visual identity that reinforces the Cosmopolitan’s signature aesthetic. The use of bold materials, lighting, and scale creates an environment that feels dynamic, energetic, and distinctly Las Vegas.
A defining feature of the project is the integration of digital ceiling panels positioned at the center of the store. These panels display looping visual content, creating a dynamic focal point that draws guests into the space and reinforces the experiential nature of the environment.
The result is a retail environment that functions as both a store and an immersive brand experience.
