Lovestitch is a Los Angeles–based bohemian women’s clothing brand known for its relaxed, effortless aesthetic and strong presence within both independent boutiques and major department stores.

As the company continued to grow, the founder sought to transition into a new showroom environment that would better express the brand’s identity and create a more intentional, experience-driven setting for wholesale buyers.

Irwin Raymond was engaged to design a wholesale showroom that would differentiate the brand within Los Angeles’s highly competitive fashion district—while supporting stronger buyer engagement and increased wholesale performance.

The Challenge

Wholesale showrooms in Los Angeles’s fashion district are typically utilitarian—designed purely for function, with little consideration for experience, brand storytelling, or emotional connection.

Lovestitch needed a space that could:

  • clearly differentiate the brand from neighboring showrooms

  • create a destination where buyers would feel comfortable spending time

  • communicate the lifestyle and identity behind the clothing collections

  • support more effective merchandising and seasonal storytelling

  • encourage buyers to engage more deeply with the product and place larger orders

The new showroom needed to function not just as a display space—but as a physical extension of the brand itself.

Our Strategy

We approached the project through our experience-driven retail and brand environment framework, aligning brand identity, buyer journey, and merchandising strategy from the earliest design phases.

Our strategy focused on:

  • creating a showroom experience that encourages comfort and exploration

  • translating Lovestitch’s bohemian aesthetic into architectural and material expression

  • designing custom fixtures and millwork to support flexible merchandising and seasonal change

  • creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere that invites buyers to slow down and engage more deeply

  • coordinating vendors and managing procurement to ensure quality, cost control, and execution

Every design decision was guided by how the space could strengthen brand perception and improve wholesale performance.

The Design Solution

The new showroom was designed to feel less like a commercial wholesale space and more like an immersive brand environment.

Warm materials, natural textures, and carefully layered displays create an atmosphere that reflects the relaxed, bohemian identity of the brand. Custom fixtures and millwork provide flexibility, allowing collections to evolve seasonally while maintaining visual clarity and cohesion.

The layout encourages intuitive circulation and discovery, allowing buyers to experience the collection in a way that feels natural, comfortable, and engaging.

The result is a showroom that supports both storytelling and sales performance.
